At Arenal Natura, you and your family will receive a unique experience and environmental education, where beautiful tropical frogs, birds, reptiles, Morpho Butterflies and leaf cutter ants will be the stars of the show. Accompanies by a professional naturalist guide you will stroll our rainforest trails to get up close and personal with over 50 different species of reptiles and amphibians.
Frogs like the famous Red Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) and the tiny poison dart frogs such as the Lovely Poison frog (Phyllobates lugubris) whose bright colors advert predators are just a couple of the species waiting for you. In this interesting journey you will observe a large variety of breath taking flora of the tropical rainforest and with a little luck you will also spot some of the species that live freely in our forests like Collared Pecary (Tayassu tajacu), Sloth (Bradypus tridactylus), Armadillo (Dasypus novemcinctus), Plumed Basilisk (Basiliscus plumifrons) and Common Basilisk (Basiliscus basiliscus), butterflies, birds, and other species of the region.
